The Problem We Set Out to Solve
Enterprise identity has fragmented. The average mid-size organisation runs separate tools for identity governance, provisioning, single sign-on, data access, and privileged sessions — each with its own data model, its own connector library, and its own audit log. The result is not just operational overhead. It is coverage gaps that auditors find, and that attackers exploit.
fálaina was founded to fix this. Not by building a better point solution, but by asking a different question: what if every identity decision — from a joiner's first provisioning event to a privileged session recorded for forensic review — lived in the same platform, against the same identity record?

fálaina5 is a converged identity platform built across five tightly integrated modules:
IDGuard5 — Identity Governance & Administration Role-based access control, segregation of duties, access certification campaigns, and AI-assisted recommendations — all producing tamper-evident audit events your external auditors can read without a consultant.
IDLifecycle5 — Identity Lifecycle Management Joiner-mover-leaver automation with a visual flow designer, no-API system reach via agent connectors, and real-time event-driven provisioning. Day-one access in minutes, not days.
Access5 — SSO & Adaptive MFA OIDC, SAML 2.0, WS-Trust and RADIUS with a 16-signal adaptive risk engine. Authentication is governance-aware — the same identity record that governs certification also gates authentication.
FileGuard5 — Data Access Governance Unstructured data is the blind spot of most IGA deployments. FileGuard5 discovers permissions across SharePoint, file servers and cloud storage, resolves effective access, and brings unstructured data into the same certification workflow as your applications.
PAM5 — Privileged Access Management Credential vaulting, SSH and RDP session brokering, session recording and playback, and command-level blocking — with rotate-on-release so no standing privileged credential survives a session.
One Identity Record. One Audit Trail.
Every module writes to the same identity record. A certification campaign in IDGuard5 can see the privileged sessions from PAM5. An offboarding flow in IDLifecycle5 terminates active sessions in Access5 and revokes file permissions in FileGuard5 in the same transaction. The audit trail is not five logs you join at query time — it is one timeline.
This is what we mean by converged by design.
